CPP30115 Certificate III in Urban Pest Management

Australian Institute of Pest Management Training (AIPMT) delivers and assesses CPP30115 Certificate III in Urban Pest Management. 


The estimated duration of this course, regardless whether you are a new entrant with no work experience or are an existing worker in the pest management industry, all students enrolled will have a period of 12 months to complete their studies. Should an extension be required, the student should discuss this with their trainer/assessor.

If a new entrant into the pest management industry enrols into a course, they must complete units:
CPPPMT3005 Manage pest without applying pesticides, CPPPMT3006 Manage pests by applying pesticides CPPPMT3018  Maintain equipment and pesticide storage areas chemical storage areas in  pest management vehicles. 


AIPMT has locations available for those students who will undertake study in a face-to-face format and for all final practical assessments at the following:

- Beenleigh

- Rockhampton

- Sunshine Coast

- Toowoomba

​Should a student be unable to undertake their final practical assessment at any one of these locations, alternative arrangements can be made with their trainer/assessor.

The Text Book "Urban Pest Management in Australia", 5th Edition, by John Gerozisis and Phillip Hadlington is required to complete the study guides of all units. If you don’t have one we can supply you one at an additional cost with your units at enrolment time.


 QBCC Licensing: For any students who currently hold a QBCC Building Inspector license, and wish to complete timber pest inspections as part of their license, please visit the QBCC website for information regarding the licensing requirements at bcc.qld.gov.au
